The steps to selling your property on Airlisting

This video visually shows you the steps involved in selling your property through Airlisting. These steps include:

Step 1: Valuation - Your independent, pre-sale market valuation can be ordered in a few clicks. An inspection will be organised and within days you will be armed with all the information you need plus your draft listing will be ready for you.

Step 2: Organise marketing - World-class photography, a custom For Sale sign and your advertisements on realestate.com.au and domain.com.au can be organised directly from Airlisting.

Step 3: Draft contract preparation - A highly regarded, national, fixed-fee conveyancing lawyer can be engaged directly through Airlisting or you can nominate any lawyer of your choosing. You must have a draft contract uploaded against your listing for it to go live on Airlisting. If you choose to use our recommended law firm, the contract will be uploaded directly.

Step 4: Publish your listing - Check over your listing, make Open Home times, choose your list price and click "publish". Your property is now officially on the market and has been sent to the major listing sites. You can update your listing any time.

Step 5: Inspections - Potential buyers will book in to attend your Open Homes and can request private inspections. You can opt to organise them yourself or engage an Airlisting Real Estate Guide to run them for you for a fixed fee.

Step 6: Offers + negotiations - Offers can come in at any time. You'll be informed of them immediately by text and email. You can choose to Accept, Decline or Counter any offer. When you and a buyer come to an agreement, both sides’ conveyancing lawyers will be immediately notified.

Step 7: Progress to settlement - Once you and your buyer have signed the sale contract, your property is now “Under Contract”. If you opted to use Airlisting’s recommended law firm, you and your buyer will receive email and text updates once the sale goes unconditional and the day it settles. Only once your property is settled you will be charged the $2,400 Airlisting fee.
